6th   August   a few residents, staff and family attended a dementia tea dance in the North Church, Perth

11th August   two of our residents went along to a strawberry tea and service in Scone Church

12th August   return visit by regular entertainer Michael Patterson

We have also been taking residents on a rota basis to the marvellous Hub coffee mornings each Wednesday in Scone and also weather permitting of course using the wheelchair bicycles service at Bell’s Sports Centre.  Still on the theme of fitness we have Live Active keep fit sessions within the home every second Tuesday and regular visits from our pet therapy dogs.

29th August Honeypot Nursery children coming along to do some art and crafts

3rd   September some of our residents will be going along to the Christian Fellowship Centre in Perth for a senior citizens lunch

5th   September a warm welcome to a new entertainer Chris White

10th September some residents will be attending a coffee afternoon and singalong in St Leonards in the Fields church hall

13th September a new venture for uswill be a trip to the newly opened V & A museum in Dundee to attend a dementia workshop

24th September return visit by Eddie Cairney

Also in September some of the Rotary members will be coming back to do curling and golf with our residents
